Natkong, Willard wed


Rose Anna Natkong and Samuel Joseph Willard Jr. wed Nov. 11, 2011 in Waimanalo Bay, Honolulu, Hawaii. A reception followed at Paradise Cove in Honolulu.

The bride is the daughter of Lillian Rose Young of Pelican and Sitka. She graduated from Mt. Edgecumbe High School in Sitka and attended the University of Alaska Southeast. She is employed with Juneau Youth Services.

The groom is the son of Marlene Abbott and Samuel Joseph Willard Sr., both of Hoonah. He graduated from Hoonah High School and attended AVTEC — Alaska’s Institute of Technology. He is employed with Hecla Greens Creek Mine.

The bride was attended by Jessie Anna Young and Trisha Lee. Flower girls were Lilliana Willard, the couple’s daughter, and Emily Hill. The groom was attended by Bill Abbott and Lucas Johnson.

The pair will make their home in Juneau.
