Congratulations to the bride and groom and I hope Joe's rehablitation continues to go well.
But just to clairify, Lorelai has a daddy who loves her very much. He is a soldier who sacrafices his life everyday for her and our country. She has a father and I don't approve of how this announcement makes it sound as if she doesn't have one at all.
Really??
To reiterate what I wrote in the wedding annoucement: Joe has married Lorelai's mother and he has vowed to care for and love her daughter as his child. She is a smart, sweet little girl that deserves to have two fathers, and regardless of the title to have people that love and care for her, in her life. Everyone knows her dads in the military, and no one is trying to take away his title as a father. The annoucement was only to show friends and family around juneau the love and compassion they will have as a family....
Something to think about then: If her father ever gets re-married should that lady not care for her as her own? Does this women not deserve to love his child and becalled a mother figure?
