Lindsey Heumann and Chad Hegdahl wed Aug. 12, 2012 at Pyrenees Vineyard and Cellars on the Umpqua River in southern Oregon. A reception followed. He proposed in Sayulito, Mexico on a small foot bridge overlooking the Pacific Ocean last Christmas.

The bride is the daughter of Katharine and Jim Heumann of Juneau. She graduated from Juneau-Douglas High School and attended Oregon State University. She currently attends Pacific University, where she will soon receive her doctorate in physical therapy.

The groom is the son of Penny and Darrell Hegdahl of Ashland, Ore. He graduated from Ashland High School and attended Oregon State University. He is currently employed with Providence Hospital in Portland, Ore. as a cardiac technician.

The bride was attended by Brianna Lappi, Mary Rehfeld, Bryce Bohlen, Ariana McDonough, Sara Garfinkel, Sara Hieter and Annie Cochrun. The groom was attended by Ross Mather,Tim Hegdahl, Brent Hegdahl, Alex Heumann, Kraig Strong, Jayson Hieter and Grant Lappi. Austin Taylor was the ring bearer and Grant Lappi officiated the wedding.

The pair will continue to make their home in Portland.
