Macaulay, Hansen to wed

Cindy Macaulay and Ron Hansen will wed May 28 at the Chapel by the Lake, with a reception following at the Travelodge banquet room at 5 p.m.

The prospective bride is the daughter of Linda and the late Ladd Macaulay of Juneau. She is employed with the Alaska Department of Commerce and Economic Development.

The prospective groom is the son of Patricia and Richard Hansen of Desert Hot Springs, Calif. He is employed with Southeast Earth Movers.

The wedding will be officiated by Pastor Douglas Dye. The bride will be attended by matron of honor Amy Jo Meiners. The flower girl will be granddaughter Savannah Croteau and Junior Bridesmaids will be nieces Abby Meiners and Rachel Macauley. The groom will be attended by best man Dick Miller and assisted by sons Sam Cashen, Ron Hansen Jr., and daughters Destry and Casey Hansen and Anne Marie and Donne Cashen. Anne Marie and Casey will also serve as ushers.

The couple fell in love four years ago at a softball game and now invite family and friends to join them at the evening reception.
