Frederick, Stephens to wed

Emily Catherine Frederick and Jeremy Loren Stephens will wed Oct. 5, 2013 in Ira, Vt., at the prospective bride’s grandparents’ farm.

The bride is the daughter of Diana and Paul Frederick of Hardwick, Vt. She attended the University of Rhode Island and earned a degree in Marine Biology. She is employed with the State of Alaska Department of Fish & Game as a Wildlife Tech 2.

The groom is the son of Debby and Keith Stephens of Juneau. He graduated from Juneau-Douglas High School and attended the University of Kansas, where he earned a degree in Civil Engineering. He is employed with the State of Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities as a Project Engineer.

The couple have made their home in Haines with their husky, Gus.
