Kathleen Frederick, formerly of Juneau, and William Estelle wed June 30, 2013 at the United Protestant Church in Palmer, with a reception following at Rusty’s at Dahlia Street.
The bride is the daughter of the late Jane Frederick Bonsall and Oscar Frederick of Springfield, Penn. She graduated from Interlochen Arts Academy in Interlochen, Mich., and attended Gettysburg College for her bachelor’s degree, Drexel University for a master’s in science and Villanova University School of Law. She is employed with the State of Alaska, Office of Elder Fraud and Assistance as an attorney.
The groom is the son of Ruth DeArmond Estelle, living in the Palmer Pioneer Home, and the late Howard Estelle. He graduated from Palmer High School and attended the University of Alaska Anchorage for undergraduate studies and Duke University Law School. He is a judge with the District Court in Palmer.
The wedding was officiated by Revs. Timothy and Leisa Carrick. The bride was attended by Ellen Varosi of Wasilla, formerly of Juneau, and Sarah Alfdal of Bryn Mawr, Penn. She was given away by her son Christopher Frederick of Palo Alto, Calif. The groom was attended by Steve Van Cleve of Sutton and Chris Gronning of Anchorage. Margaret Walmer of San Antonio, Texas, formerly of Juneau, was the reader. Daughter of the bride Laura Larrimore of Alexandria, Va. was the soloist. Nina Schwinghammer, formerly of Juneau, was the greeter. Ushers were son-in-law of the bride Jeffrey Larrimore of Alexandria and son of the groom Robert Estelle of Portland, Ore.
After a honeymoon at Stillpoint Lodge in Halibut Cove, the couple returned to their home in Palmer.
