Kayla Brandner and Adam Reid wed Aug. 9, 2013 at Cannon’s Edge at Greenbluff, Spokane, Wash., with a reception following.
The bride is the daughter of Monica and Steve Brandner of Juneau. She graduated from Juneau-Douglas High School and attended Boise State University and Spokane Community College. She is employed with Davenport Hotel Spa in Spokane.
The groom is the son of Becky and Robert Reid of Spokane. He graduated from North Central High School in Spokane and is employed with Wells Fargo Bank in Spokane.
The wedding was officiated by Pastor Joe Cox of Victory Faith Fellowship. The bride was attended by maid of honor and sister of the bride Kristen Brandner, and bridesmaids Kelsey Warner, Gabrielle Jackson, Ellie Roberts, Justine Kim and cousin Danielle Shilling. The groom was attended by Spencer Wordell, Brady Hand, Charles Nu, Ian Sutherland, Adam Hardy and Jake Newton. Ushers were Justin Cisco, Trevor Angerman and Josh Spivey.
The couple met in the “School of Leadership” program at Victory Faith Fellowship in Spokane in 2010. He proposed Dec. 24, 2012, with a set wedding date of Aug. 9, 2013. The couple couldn’t wait so, with their families’ blessings, they wed at a small ceremony at the bride’s grandparents’ home Jan. 19, 2013, officially celebrating their wedding and reception with family and friends on the original date. The couple are expecting their first child, due in March 2014, and will honeymoon at Disneyland and make their home in Spokane.
