Kelsey Messing and James Ward wed July 13, 2013 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Juneau, with a reception following at the Juneau Arts & Culture Center.
The bride is the daughter of Martin and Kathy Messing of Juneau, She graduated from Juneau-Douglas High School and attended the University of Alaska Southeast. She is employed with the State of Alaska, Department of Fish & Game.
The groom is the son of Katrina Clements and Mike Ward of Juneau. He graduated from Juneau-Douglas High School and attends the University of Alaska Southeast, where he is a student in the Diesel Tech program.
The wedding was officiated by Fr. Ken Hannon. The bride was attended by maid of honor Krista Messing and bridesmaids Morgan Marx and Kymberlee Kelly. Gracie Marx was the flower girl. The groom was attended by best man Keegan Goodell and groomsmen Daniel Baines and Ryan Kelly. Tayten Whitely was the ring bearer and Erik Kelly was usher.
The couple will make their home in Juneau and expressed gratitude to all who joined them.
