Nicollses celebrate 50 years

Wayne and Connie (Nikkola) Nicolls celebrated their 50th anniversary Dec. 7. The couple married in Ely, Minn., in 1963. After transferring throughout the country over the course of the 30 years Wayne was employed with the U.S. Forest Service, the couple settled in Juneau, where they’ve lived for more than 25 years. They have four children: Heather (Carl) Ramseth, Erin Nicolls, Gwen (Nathan) Rivas and David Nicolls, and seven grandchildren.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate at an Open House, 1-4 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 28, at 4235 Lake Shore Drive in Juneau.
