Genevieve Carol Carson and Clark Travis Baker were wed on June 27, 2015, at the Demetria Estate in Los Olivos, California.
The bride is the daughter of Tom and Cheri Carson of Juneau.
The groom is the son of Steve and Carol Baker of Dallas, Texas.
Rachel Scandling was the maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Tiffanie Carson, Dorian Smith, Drea Sobke, Allison Vieger and Hilary Baker.
The groom’s brother, Bryan Baker, and his brother-in-law, Taylor Vieger, served as best men. Groomsmen were Chester Carson, Evan Stuller, Zamin Mirza, Bobby Glickert, Eliot Murray, Peter Boynton and Drew Solomon.
The wedding was officiated by Thomas Bailey, with the groom’s nephews, Luke Baker and Hudson Baker, acting as ring bearers.
Genevieve is a 2002 graduate of Juneau-Douglas High School and attended Chapman University where she received a BFA in dance performance. She is the new artistic director for the Los Angeles Contemporary Dance Company, and she teaches dance at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy.
Clark graduated from Chapman University with a BFA in film studies and is a television producer/director specializing in science fiction and comedy. His short film “Vessel,” has been picked up by Paramount Pictures for development into a feature length film. He has also produced numerous shows for Comedy Central.
A double rainbow appeared in the sky as the couple danced their first dance. Following a honeymoon in Bora Bora, Tahiti, the couple plans to make their home in Los Angeles.
