The bride is the daughter of Pam and Dan Roope of Wrangell. She graduated from Wrangell High School and attended the University of Alaska. She is employed with NEA Alaska.

The groom is the son of Natalie and Stephen Strasburger of Wrangell. He graduated from Wrangell High School and attended the University of Alaska. He is employed as a marine biologist with NOAA.

Jamie Allyson Strain and Patrick Conroy Shanley will wed March 17, 2012 at the Chapel of Our Lady of the Snows in Girdwood.

The prospective bride is the daughter of Cherie Skonberg and Thomas Strain of Kodiak.

The prospective groom is the son of Jolyn and Tom Shanley of Juneau.

Stefanie Godkin and Joe Bingham wed Feb. 18, 2012 at the Baranof Hotel in the Treadwell Ballroom.

The bride is the daughter of Victoria and Gerald Godkin of Juneau.

The groom is the son of Patricia and Boyce Bingham of Juneau.

Boyce Bingham, father of the groom, officiated the wedding. During the ceremony, Joe Bingham also vowed to Lorelai, daughter of the bride and flower girl, that he would be her father and love and care for her as his own.

The family will continue to make its home in Juneau.

Alycia Rae Cox and Johannes Paul will wed May 19, 2012 at Rosecrest Equestrian Estate in Monroe, Wash.

The prospective bride is the daughter of Joanne and Bob Chernikoff of Juneau. She graduated from Juneau-Douglas High School and attended Point Loma Nazarene University. She is employed with Seattle Pacific University.

The prospective groom is the son of Kathy and Roger Paul of Friday Harbor, Wash. He graduated from Friday Harbor High School and attended Seattle Pacific University. He is employed with Pacific Biosciences.

The couple will make their home in Seattle.
