Courtney C. Laird and Richard W. Isett Jr. wed Aug. 4, 2012 at the Indian Summer Country Club in Lacey, Wash., followed by a reception of dinner and dancing.

The bride is the daughter of Patricia and David Laird of Eugene, Ore. Courtney graduated from Ridgefield High School in Ridgefield, Wash. She attended Pacific Lutheran University, Tacoma, Wash. where she earned a bachelor’s degree in communications and business. She is a marketing assistant for Pacific Dental Services in Sacramento, Calif.

Ole and Sandy Bartness will celebrate 50 years of marriage Oct. 31, 2012. The couple wed Oct. 31, 1962 and had two daughters, Kari Reyes and Kami Wilson. The Bartnesses have four grandchildren, Taylor Daniels, Erik Frenette, Kierra Reyes and Christian Reyes. The couple retired together July 13, 1990 from the State of Alaska. They have operated a fishing charter busiess since 1983 and fish. The couple travel, boat and spend time with family and their dog Oslo at their home in Juneau. They will hold a family gathering to celebrate.

Jaymee Leanne Pitt and Myles Stephen Kiefer wed Oct. 6, 2012 at the Juneau Yacht Club with a reception following.

The bride is the daughter of Misty and David Haynes of Juneau and Gary and Audrey Pitt of Kenai. She graduated from Nikiski High School in Nikiski and attended Penn Foster College. She is employed with AJ Mine Gastuneau Mill Tours in Juneau.

The groom is the son of Stephanie and Brad Kiefer of Juneau. He graduated from Juneau-Douglas High School and is a Private First Class in the United States Marine Corps, stationed in Pendleton, Calif.

Chelsy Rivera and Brian Maller wed Sept. 1, 2012, at Northern Light United Church, with a reception following at Centennial Hall.

The bride is the daughter of Amanda and Nathan Todeschi and Luis Rivera. She graduated from Juneau-Douglas High School and attended the University of Alaska Anchorage. She is currently employed with the State of Alaska.

The groom is the son of Ruth and Glenn Maller. He graduated from Juneau-Douglas High School and attended the University of Alaska Anchorage. He is employed with Channel Construction.
