The bride is the daughter of Karen Doxey and Randy Wanamaker of Juneau. She graduated from Juneau-Douglas High School and attended Seattle Pacific University.

The groom is the son of Tamara and Joseph Zayas Sr. of Loveland, Colo. and Elizabeth and John Plantin of Rochester, Minn. He is employed with Boeing Corp. in Everett, Wash.

Kasey Krook and Jacob Abel wed April 14, 2012 at the Twisted Fish.

The bride is the daughter of Harry Krook of Tavares, Fla., Kristeen Verg of Juneau and Mark Brooks of Juneau. She is employed with Juneau Bone & Joint Center.

The groom is the son of Shari and Scott Guenther of Juneau and Lyn Fiehler and Dave Abel of Juneau. He graduated from Juneau-Douglas High School and is employed with North Pacific Erectors.

Elizabeth Stickel and Daniel Minton wed March 24, 2012 at Brownsville Christian Church in Brownsville, Ore. A reception followed.

The bride is the daughter of Lorraine and Jack Sitckel of Juneau. She graduated from Juneau-Douglas High School and attended University of Alaska Southeast for undergraduate studies, Idaho State University for her MBA and University of Oregon to earn a PhD. She is currently a PhD student in marketing, as well as a researcher and instructor.

Roberta (Bert) P. Lyon and Burt W. Cook II are to wed June 23, 2012 in a private beach ceremony at Pattaya Beach, Thailand.

The prospective bride is the daughter of the late Roberta Pepin and Dr. Raymond Pepin of Spokane, Wash.

The groom is the son of Elise A. Cook and the late Burt W. Cook of Webster, NH.

The couple will be joined in Thailand by their children, Dana and Jesse Blackwell, Raymond Lyon accompanied by Amber Emery, and Burt (Taz) Cook III.

They will continue to make their home in Juneau, where they own a tourism business, Alaska Pirate’s Pride.
