The Alaska Chamber of Commerce announced Albert Fogle is vice president in a news release on Friday.
Fogle’s role as vice president will include advocacy, legislative issues, financial management and operations. He will replace Ben Mulligan who is now deputy commissioner of the Alaska Department of Fish and Game.
“We’re fortunate to bring in someone with Albert’s experience,” the chamber’s chief executive, Curtis Thayer, said in the release. “His knowledge of Alaska’s health care insurance industry is invaluable as we formulate and develop an affordable and competitive health plan for our small business members.”
Fogle’s resume includes a business degree from the University of Alaska Anchorage, service in the Army as an infantry team leader and communications operator, and as an employee benefits and business consultant for RISQ Consulting. He is a licensed life and health insurance producer. He is also past president of the Alaska Association of Health Underwriters.
