“Matthew 25:35. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you made me welcome …”
These are the words of Jesus, whom Christians worship. A reporter had a disability and Donald Trump mocked him; they marched in the streets chanting, “Jews will not replace us,” and Trump called them “good people;” they come to our borders seeking asylum from war, gangs and persecution, and Trump has them arrested.
When a cartoonist mocks Christians who voted for Donald Trump, he is not ridiculing their faith; he is illustrating the hypocrisy between their faith and actions. Just because they call themselves Christians does not mean all their actions are Christ-like.
