The last Douglas Boat Harbor renewal project, when planned, had landscaping included. This still has not happened, along with the paved parking lot. It is nice to see how attractive the Auke Bay boat harbor is becoming with marked paving and pretty planting. Douglas would look good with a bit of the same.
The Linden trees would be welcome around the Douglas Boat Harbor. It would be a small step toward improving the area. Maybe some other leftover City and Borough of Juneau plants could be used.
