The New York Times reported Saturday that Mr. Trump said, “some migrants are ‘not people’ and predicts a ‘bloodbath’ if he loses.
He primed the terrorists who attacked congress on Jan. 6 to resort to violence. People shouted, “Hang Mike Pence.” Five people died. Now he is preparing his followers to take up arms if he loses the election and revolt against our government and to create a bloodbath.
He is a threat to our democracy and our safety. Now is the time for Senators Lisa Murkowski and Dan Sullivan to publicly oppose Trump for president. Former vice presidents Mike Pence and Dick Chaney have publicly opposed him. I hope Murkowski and Sullivan are not so afraid of him that they remain silent.
