I’ve always been a supporter of your hard-nosed approach to government. Hey, I would have liked an extra thousand bucks last October, but I appreciate functioning schools, hospitals and state troopers better. Can’t win ‘em all. Which brings me to my next point: health care. You know by now that Medicare annihilation is going to be high on the new administration’s to-do list, which could potentially undo the great strides Alaska has made in providing health care to our vast state during your term. But there is a growing coalition of conservative governors standing up to this insanity, and leveraging influence on their state’s representatives. I hope you’ll join this movement and demand a reasoned approach to health care reform from Congress. Alaskans will be right behind you.
