In my 70 years as an Alaskan I’ve seen a lot of political shifts, but I’ve never seen a full-out attack on our democracy or such cowardice by Alaska’s representatives. People like Don Young or Ted Stevens always looked first to Alaskan’s direct interests and never bowed to wanna-be king makers.

It’s obvious that the Musk-Trump duo is acting abnormally, unconstitutionally, and recklessly to benefit themselves and their billionaire buddies at the expense of ordinary Americans.

Alaskan jobs, funding, and needed infrastructure and services, approved by Congress, are being systematically gutted and our delegation is sitting on the sidelines, aiding and abetting these unconstitutional actions. What do we need them for if they won’t protect our interests?
