The supporters of the new JACC tell us that they have a report that says it will be a great financial “pro forma” including that it will be making a $50,000 “profit” in year three. If this is true, why not go to a bank instead of Juneau taxpayers. I think the bankers would be doubtful about these projections. When has this type of a project ever really been that viable. Look at the Performing Arts Center in Anchorage that is barely scraping by with a population of over 300,000 to support its events.
Don’t JACC up our taxes. Join me in voting “no” on Proposition 3.
