Opinion: Vote ‘no’ on the border wall

U.S. Sens. Lisa Murkowski and Dan Sullivan, R-Alaska, should vote “no” to the border wall. Alaska does not need it. The Pacific Ocean is a barrier which does not rust. Voting to approve $5.6 billion to build a “wall” will not benefit Alaska and will bankrupt the United States. It will result in high taxes and no money for a healthcare program, schools, etc. In Europe, they get free medical care; all we get here is a wall 3,148 miles away from Juneau.
