49 Writers will host a class called List and Litany, which will be taught by Caroline Goodwin, current poet laureate of San Mateo County, on Thursday, Dec. 17 at Taku Graphics/Shorefast Editions, located at 5732 Concrete Way.
This class is designed to help students approach a blank page when writing.
The first hour of class will be spent responding to a series of prompts followed by critical analysis. Students will listen Christopher Dewdney perform a section of “A Natural History of Southwestern Ontario.” The workshop will conclude with a reading and discussion of the next steps for writing development.
Every student will have the opportunity to send a piece of writing to the instructor via snail mail for a brief written response.
