July Fourth in Juneau and Douglas was another memorable event! Not only was the weather beautiful, but both committees are to be recognized for their hard work in planning and organizing such wonders for our great city. Both committees provided fabulous parades, which were so obviously enjoyed by the citizens of Juneau and Douglas.
The Douglas Fourth of July Committee did another great job of providing the City of Juneau with the many events at Savikko Park and Sandy Beach. It is amazing how people from throughout the city will converge in Douglas to participate in the fun and celebration of this great day! The time and effort you extend is appreciated by all.
From fireworks to closing, thank you again to both committees and to others involved in the observance and commemoration of the 4th of July!
