A day of adaptive skiing

Southeast Alaska Independent Living (SAIL)/Outdoor Recreation and Community Access (ORCA) have teamed up with Eaglecrest Ski Area for their annual “Learn to Adapt” Day (Adaptive Ski and Snowboard Awareness Day), this Sunday, Jan. 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Skiers and snowboarders of all abilities are invited to try out adaptive equipment for skiing and snowboarding and get free lessons and demos with the equipment, which includes sit-skis and outriggers.
