On Oct. 19, Alaska Day, the Juneau Senior Center will be holding a pancake breakfast fundraiser 9 a.m.-11 a.m. at their location on 895 W. 12th St.
Breakfast includes pancakes, bacon, eggs, fruit, juice, coffee with music provided by Dale Wygant.
Tickets purchased in advance are $13; $15 at the door. Children ages 6 -12 are $7 while children ages 5 and under are free.
This event raises money for the senior nutrition program which provides a hot lunch five times a week at the Juneau Senior Center, two times a week at the Methodist Church in Douglas and five days a week to almost a 100 Meals on Wheel recipients.
All work performed by volunteers. All the food is donated. All proceeds go to the nutrition program.
