The Alaska Women’s Hall of Fame is looking for members of its 2018 class, and applications are open.

Applications must be submitted electronically on the Hall’s website at www.alaskawomenshalloffame.org, and the deadline is 6 p.m., Jan. 16, 2018. A panel of judges will then review the applications and make their selections prior to the 2018 induction on April 26, 2018, which also includes celebrations of the Hall’s 10th anniversary.

The Hall is looking to hear stories of inspiration, and about women who have made a difference on the community, statewide or national level. Nominees may be living or deceased and must have lived in Alaska at some point in their lives. If a nominee is living, she must be at least 65 years of age as of Jan. 16, 2018. Last year’s class included 11 inductees and there are a total of 160 women listed on the Hall of Fame’s website.
