Auditions for 2nd annual ‘Juneau’s Got Talent’
Juneau Dance Theatre is looking for family-friendly acts two to three minutes long for its 2nd annual “Juneau’s Got Talent.” The live audition is Jan. 28.
Acts compete for cash prizes and an opportunity to perform at JDT’s Spring Showcase (to be held at Juneau Douglas High School, May 26-27). Winners will be determined by a panel of celebrity judges and audience votes at the Juneau’s Got Talent, which March 11 at the JACC from 7-9 p.m.
JDT welcomes dancers, singers, jugglers, stand-up comics, poets, actors — all kinds of talent of all ages — to audition for this show. All proceeds from “Juneau’s Got Talent” will support JDT programs and outreach efforts in the community.
The live audition will take place Saturday, Jan. 28, 5-7 p.m. at the JDT studio (8420 Airport Blvd, second floor). Interested participants are encouraged to register for the audition online at www.juneaudance.org.
Video submissions will also be accepted if people are unable to attend the live audition. These applicants should register online and send video to juneaudance@gci.net. There will be a $20 application fee for each registered act.
