The Juneau Audubon Society will host a public meeting Jan. 14 at 7 pm at the UAS rec center room 116.
Ann and Alan Doty will present “Birds and Beasts of Belize.” According to a description of the talk, Alan and Ann Doty have recorded 245 bird species during their three visits to area, which have included exploration of five Mayan Sites in Belize, a tiny Central American country about the size of Rhode Island.
The talk is free and open to the public.
