Ann and Alan Doty will present their photos of “The Birds and Beasts of Belize” at the Juneau Audubon Society’s meeting Jan. 14, 7 p.m. in UAS recreation center room 116.
The Dotys have recorded 245 bird species, visited five Mayan sites and “learned so much about this tiny Central American country, which is about the size of Rhode Island,” on three visits to five of the country’s six districts, said an email from the Audubon Society.
The meetings, every second Thursday of the month through April, are free and open to the public.
