The universe is massive and mysterious, and astronomers are still trying to grasp its true nature, so it’s no wonder that many sky watchers tend to believe things that just aren’t true. Today at 7 p.m. at Marie Drake Planetarium, Dennis Mammana will discuss several of the most common misunderstandings, and do some celestial myth-busting.
Saturday, Feb. 20 at 7 p.m., he’ll talk about the colors of the cosmos. $5 for adults, which goes towards Mammana’s travel expenses, with people younger than 18 free. Both presentations include time for Q&A.
