Davidson and Forbes wed

Tessina Davidson, of Juneau, and Jim Forbes, of Redmond, Washington, were married May 12, 2018, at The Lairmont Manor in Bellingham, Washington.

The bride is the daughter of Diana Cote and Dave Wetzel of Juneau. A graduate of Juneau-Douglas High School, she is currently employed as a senior licensed veterinary technician at Loyal Companion Animal Care in Redmond.

The groom is the son of John and Jan Reyes, of Redmond, Washington. He graduated from Redmond High School and is employed as a senior product development engineer at AT&T.

The wedding officiant was the groom’s father, John Reyes. The bride’s sister, Ciela Cote Directo, was Matron of Honor and Andrea Ritchie was a bridesmaid. The Best Man was James Duggins, and the groom’s sister, Jenn Forbes-Reyes, was Groomslady. The bride and groom’s mothers, Diana Cote and Jan Reyes, were the flower girls.

Dinner and dancing followed the ceremony at The Lairmont Manor.

The couple met on a blind date of dinner and a show, where they soon discovered the adventurous side of each other. That mellow evening was quickly followed up with paragliding, river rafting, jet skiing in California, fishing in Alaska, and swimming with dolphins and sea lions. The couple has a mutual love of woodworking, travel and Halloween, in no particular order. They will honeymoon this winter in Australia, and make their home in Kirkland, Washington.
