Today’s Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center Fireside Lecture, the third of the season, will focus on the history of Alaska’s Capitol.
Local architect Wayne Jensen will use historical photos and drawings to help portray the 1929 construction of Juneau’s federal and territorial building, as well as its current restorations.
Fireside lectures, which are free and open to the public, are at 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. each Friday through March 25 at the visitor center.
