The Gastineau Elementary School community would like to thank all of the amazing local scientists and organizations who generously shared their time and knowledge at Gastineau’s annual Hands-On Science night: DIPAC (Rich Mattson and son), Juneau Raptor Center (Sandy Harbanuk), Juneau Economic Development Council STEM (Rebecca Soza and Courtney Weiss), Southeast Medical Clinic (Emily Walker), Juneau Police Department (Officer Hatch, Officer Wise and K9 Buddy), NOAA (Bonita Nelson and Corey Fugate), Alaska Department of Fish and Game (Anthony and Eli Crupi) and Gastineau staff. It was a fun and exciting night of hands-on learning!
