Dog and cat food is being collected from Monday, Dec. 11-Sunday, Dec. 17 for the 8th annual Grateful Dogs of Juneau pet food drive. The food will be distributed to clients of the Southeast Alaska Food Bank who have pets that are in need of food.
According to a press release, the drive collected more than 1500 pounds of dog and cat food last year and hopes to surpass the amount this year.

Downtown collection boxes are located at the Foodland IGA, Rainbow Foods, and Heritage Coffee at IGA.
