Alaska Department of Fish and Game will hold an informational meeting for the upcoming Gustavus moose hunt (RM049) at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14 at Gustavus School.
On the agenda will be the viewing of a video, “Is This Moose Legal?”; discussion of a brochure, “Moose Hunting in Antler Restricted Areas-Southeast Alaska”; discussion of antler configurations (new regulations addressing points originating within 2” of the base and less than 3” long); data from Unit 1C moose population surveys and moose harvest.
