The Lynn Canal Community Players will present their production of “The House of Bernarda Alba” by Federico Garcia Lorca next weekend, Feb. 12-14, at the Chilkat Center for the Performing Arts in Haines. Performances will be at 7 pm Friday and Saturday, Feb. 12 and 13, and at 1 pm Sunday, Feb. 14.
The play is directed by Tod Sebens, and its cast features 19 Haines women. Written in 1936, it is described as a drama about women in the villages of Spain.
