Holiday fun and fundraiser

Aldersgate United Methodist Church is hosting its first Christmas tea as a fundraiser. There will be three light courses mixing traditional finger sandwiches and savory and sweet treats, which will be served by Junior Girl Scout Troop 4046. A silent auction will offer a variety of gift items from local artists and vendors, along with crafted centerpieces for your table. This Christmas tea will include holiday music featuring Aldersgate’s Music Director Jon Hayes on piano.

Money raised will go to support local church programs and outreach to the Juneau community including The Glory Hole, Eagle River United Methodist Camp, Feeding the Future, Love Inc. and community needs as they arise.

This is an opportunity to get into the holidays with fundraising fun, friends, and family.

The tea is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 9 from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. Make a reservation by calling 907-789-0697 or 907-789-4050 and emailing mkell70@aol.com. The cost is $15 for adults and $5 for children younger than 12. Aldersgate United Methodist Church is located at 9161 Cinema Drive.
