Matthew “Matt” Campbell is a new summer intern in Robert Peccia & Associates’ Helena, Montana, office, which is a100 percent employee-owned ESOP firm that provides civil engineering, landscape architecture and land surveying services throughout the United States.
Campbell is working with the Streets and Highways Group. Campbell designs and drafts with MicroStation software for various projects, and will graduate from Montana State University in December of 2017 with a bachelor of science in civil engineering, an honors baccalaureate degree and a minor in music. At MSU, a separate honors baccalaureate degree is awarded to students fulfilling rigorous requirements for their honors degree, in addition to the degree a student earned in his or her major department.
The son of Andrew and Judy Campbell who own and operate Admiralty Construction in Juneau, Matt was a member of the hockey team throughout high school and also a clarinet and saxophone player in the school bands. He grew up in Juneau and graduated from Juneau-Douglas High School with the class of 2013.
