Joseph Monsef of Juneau-Douglas High School has been named a summer intern for U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska. Each year, interns from Alaska high schools serve in the Capitol offices of Murkowski; Sen. Dan Sullivan, R-Alaska; and Rep. Don Young, R-Alaska. Monsef is the only Juneau or Douglas resident among this year’s intern selection.
