Juneau residents make dean’s list at Montana State University

• Eight Juneau residents made the Montana State University undergraduate honor roll for the 2018 fall semester.

There are two MSU honor roll lists: the President’s and the Dean’s Honor Roll. Students with a perfect 4.0 grade point average for the semester were named to the President’s Honor Roll. An asterisk follows the names of the students named to the President’s Honor Roll.

Those students from Juneau are Evan Carnahan*, Zoe George, Alexandria Hayward*, Mary Landes, Mikayla May*, Brysen Mitchell*, Selene Smith and Kathy Tran.

• Cedarville University student Austin Land, of Juneau, whose major is mechanical engineering, was named to the Dean’s List for fall 2018. This recognition required Land to maintain a 3.5 GPA for the semester and carry a minimum of 12 credit hours.

• Eastern Oregon University student Laura Harwell, of Juneau, was named to the dean’s list for fall 2018. Qualifying students achieve and maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher while completing a minimum of 12 hours of graded coursework.

• Daffodil Alinson, of Juneau, was named to the dean’s list at Ashland University for the fall 2018 semester. Alinson is majoring in nursing.
