Bartlett Regional Hospital nursing manager Karen White received statewide recognition Nov. 8 during the March of Dimes’ 13th annual Alaska Nurse of the Year Awards.
The award honors nurses throughout the state in 16 categories. White won Nurse of the Year in the Leadership Nurse Manager category.
The event’s chairwoman was Barbara Berner, director of the the University of Alaska Anchorage’s School of Nursing. KTVA news anchor Emily Carlson emceed the event.
