Juneau Youth Services (JYS) wants to thank Sealaska for, once again, making a generous donation to the Miller House program to purchase holiday gifts and school supplies for the youth in our care. Miller House is a 24/7 residential program for kids 12-18 years old, and many of them will be spending their holidays with Juneau Youth Services staff, instead of going home. With Sealaska’s help, JYS will make their holiday as fantastic as possible.
Sealaska is a Native institution owned by more than 22,000 shareholders whose core Native values guide all that Sealaska does and represent the rich heritage of the Tlingit, Haida and Tsimshian people. And their commitment to charity and goodwill during the holiday season is very much appreciated by the JYS kids and the staff who work with them every day.
