Local receives Outstanding Master’s Thesis for graduate work

Rachel Bernstein’s thesis has been selected as the Outstanding Master’s Thesis by the Agricultural & Applied Economics Association for 2016.

Bernstein was awarded her masters from University of California Davis in 2015. The title of the work is “In Pursuit of the Transformational Sum: Lottery and Savings in Haiti.”

Bernstein is a Juneau-Douglas High School graduate in 2004.
