The events are free for the public, and all lectures will take place between noon and 1 p.m. at JAMHI, 3406 Glacier Highway, Suite A. Clinicians can earn a continuing education credit for a $20 fee.

Here’s the scheduled topics of the talks:

  • April 17: Health care access for all, exploration of barriers and solutions
  • May 15: Science of mental health
  • June 19: Housing First; a review of the evidence and implementation

Each event is sponsored by the National Association of Social Workers Alaska Chapter and the Juneau Alliance for Mental Health Inc. RSVP in advance by emailing Luke Barrett at Luke.Miller.Barrett@gmail.com. Attendees should park in the Twin Lakes parking lot.
