On Jan. 3, Suzanne McGee and Bob Sauerteig were married at Ghost Ranch, Abiquiu, New Mexico.
The bride is the daughter of Mary and Charles McGee of Boise, Idaho. She graduated from Ketchikan High School, attended the University of Alaska Fairbanks and works at Alaska Electric Light and Power.
The groom is the son of Mary and John Sauerteig (both deceased) of Brevard, North Carolina. He graduated from Conestoga Senior High in Berwyn, Pennsylvania, attended Purdue University and is currently a self-employed wood worker in Juneau.
The couple will make their home in Juneau.
The couple had a sunset wedding overlooking Kitchen Mesa on the property of Ghost Ranch, and were attended by Suzanne’s parents and her two sons, Zachary and Nikolaos Hebert. The wedding was officiated by Dr. Ned O’Malia (Doctor of Philosophy of Asian Religions). A dinner followed at the Abiquiu Inn.
