The Juneau Meals on Wheels program thanks the Mudrooms crew and all the community members who attended this spring’s Mudrooms story-telling events. The proceeds of the past four Mudrooms have helped to support the program, which brings a hot meal to homebound seniors in Juneau five days a week.
We also thank Marc Wheeler at Coppa for providing coffee, and the Rookery and Panhandle Provisions for all those delicious cookies. Thanks always to Northern Lights Church for hosting the events.
We couldn’t have done it without the help of our wonderful volunteers – Marla Berg, John Greeley, Johnny Connelly, Catalina Haney, Renee Hughes and Charlene Miller.
And a very special thank you to Claire Geldhof, who suggested Meals on Wheels as this spring’s recipient of the Mudrooms proceeds. Thank you for thinking of us, Claire!
