The Pacific Seafood Processors Association selected Nicole Kimball as vice president – Alaska. Kimball will be based in Anchorage and will start in mid-March.
For the past several years, Kimball has held the position of Federal Fisheries Coordinator at the Alaska Department of Fish and Game. She represented the state in regional, national and international fisheries venues, and served as the alternate to the ADF&G Commissioner on the North Pacific Fishery Management Council. Previous to this she worked as a fisheries analyst for the Council for over 12 years.
Kimball holds a Bachelors of Science in natural resource management from the University of Maine and an Masters in Environmental policy from Tufts University. She was born in Ketchikan, and grew up in Juneau and Anchorage.
