It’s been more than a century since Albert Einstein’s groundbreaking theory of relativity, but scientists are still enamored with his work.
Staff at the Marie Drake Planetarium in Juneau are giving a presentation Wednesday, Oct. 18, entitled “100 Years of General Relativity,” about Einstein’s findings. The event is at 7 p.m. and is free for people of all ages. The presentation will cover Einstein’s theories from gravity waves to time dilation, as well as the large scale structure of the Universe itself.
The planetarium’s “The Sky Tonight” event on the Spitz projector will immediately follow the presentation.
