The Marie Drake Planetarium will present “Aurora” at 6:30 p.m. Monday, followed by “The Sky Tonight” on the Spitz projector. The event is free and for all ages.
Learn how the Aurora Borealis and Aurora Australis are formed and how to view them and enjoy images of their majesty. Now is the best time of year to see them.
The Marie Drake Planetarium has been presenting astronomy education for 50 years. Currently, The Friends of the Marie Drake Planetarium, a non-profit staffed by volunteers, does the shows.
