The Rasmuson Foundation has announced $826,634 in third-quarter grants across the state, and the list includes several in Juneau.
The grant list was announced Thursday.
The Southeast Alaska Friends of Montessori received $12,500 to put a new roof on The Children’s House in Juneau. Juneau Alaska Music Matters received $12,518 for new musical instruments. The Alaska Network on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault was awarded $24,040 for new office equipment. The Whale Project received $15,000 for waterworks, and the University of Alaska Southeast Foundation was awarded $25,000 for its Alaska Native Language Lab, library and a new video documentary.
